A weekend one hour from the city at a converted 1928 schoolhouse — where yoga on the lawn, a year-round cedar sauna, and unhurried meals replace the feed. Close enough that day guests can join us for a single session; far enough that the quiet actually lands.
"I went in knowing no one and left connected to so many people. Crystal creates a space that actually lets you exhale — I haven't felt that settled in years."
A secluded hilltop retreat in Orange County, New York — surrounded by orchards, wineries, and hiking trails, and genuinely one hour from Manhattan. A converted 1928 schoolhouse with a cedar sauna open year-round, a fire pit, and open lawn for outdoor practice. No phones, no agenda pressure — just a house built for exactly this, close enough that day guests can join for a single session.
One hour from Manhattan and Hoboken — close enough that we're planning a single-day guest tier alongside the full weekend, for anyone who wants a taste without the overnight stay.
This environment supports nervous-system reset, real rest, and the kind of stillness that's genuinely hard to find in daily life.
Ready to Join! The weekend moves through one theme: Return to Enough — settling the nervous system, moving it, then sitting with what you already have.
Friday, 4:00 PM: Arrival, tea by the fire pit, welcome circle.
Friday, 6:00 PM: Dharma Yoga + devotional song — a slower, philosophy-rooted practice paired with call-and-response chanting to settle in.
Friday, 7:30 PM: Welcome dinner.
Saturday, 8:00 AM: Rocket Yoga (all levels, energizing vinyasa) — Session 1 of 3.
Saturday, 9:30 AM: Seasonal breakfast.
Saturday, 11:00 AM: Alive Reset — a yoga class paired with a workshop on living well with what you have: gratitude, contentment, and "enoughness" as the fall season turns — Session 2 of 3.
Saturday, 1:00 PM: Seasonal lunch, then free time — optional self-guided walk through the orchards and hiking trails nearby.
Saturday, 5:30 PM: Restorative Yoga + Sound Healing (gong and Himalayan singing bowls) — Session 3 of 3.
Saturday, 7:30 PM: Closing dinner, cedar sauna open through the evening.
Sunday, 9:00 AM: Closing circle + slow brunch, departure by late morning.
Sunday, 12:00 PM (optional): Vineyard visit — a short drive to a nearby vineyard for tasting and lunch on your own, for anyone extending their Sunday.
The Saturday Day Pass includes all 3 led sessions above (Rocket Yoga, Alive Reset, Restorative Yoga + Sound Healing) plus lunch — see the full breakdown below.
Sign Me Up!Hello! I'm Crystal, the founder of Aeterna Wellbeing. With over 20 years in yoga practice and a decade leading wellness experiences, I've shared mindfulness in places like Puerto Rico, New York, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Bali. I blend ancient yogic traditions with modern nervous system science to create experiences that are genuine resets — whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you'll find a warm welcome here.
Yoga came to me early — at twelve — during a season of loss. It became my anchor, a way to breathe through the hard edges of life and remember my own center. I spent 10 years in corporate business development before teaching full-time, and in my late 30s, chronic stress and changing hormones became my next turning point. I doubled down on what I know and study: yoga, breathwork, nervous system healing, and longevity science — real tools that restore rhythm from the inside out. Trained in over 1,000 hours of Vinyasa, Hatha, Dharma, Ashtanga, and Rocket Yoga, I design retreats that go beyond the mat — ritual, movement, and science woven into experiences that help you reclaim vitality and live with intention.

One of the private bedrooms — king bed, fresh linens, room to actually rest.
The living room — fireplace, deep sectional, and the open kitchen just beyond it.
The sunroom — floor-to-ceiling windows, a quiet spot to read or stretch out between sessions.
Local to the area and want the full weekend without lodging? The Commuter Pass covers all programming and meals — you arrange your own nearby stay. Traveling with a partner? Write to us about a couples room. Rooms are released on a rolling basis as deposits are received — availability shown above is current as of this week.
Full weekend rates (Private & Shared Room, Commuter Pass) cover the items below unless noted otherwise on the value table above. Day Pass is Saturday programming only.
No. Every practice is offered with options, and the weekend is built around rest as much as movement.
Phones are stored (not confiscated) for group sessions and shared meals. You're welcome to check in privately during free time — this is a reset, not a lockdown.
The house is about an hour from NYC/NJ. Most guests drive or carpool — we're coordinating a shared shuttle option for overnight guests. Day-pass guests are responsible for their own transportation. On-site parking is available for anyone driving in.
No drop-ins, sorry — every guest on the property needs a ticket, including for meals and shared spaces. If someone wants to join, point them to the Day Pass.
Deposits are non-refundable. Because this retreat is in October and the balance is due just weeks out, full payments are also non-refundable — but never lost: we'll convert your payment to a credit toward a future retreat or Aeterna Wellbeing package.
All three Saturday sessions — Rocket Yoga, the Alive Reset workshop (yoga + living well with what you have), and Restorative Yoga + Sound Healing — plus a seasonal lunch. It does not include a room, sauna access, or overnight meals — that's the private/shared room rates.
If we don't have enough confirmed, paid guests by the deposit deadline, we'll notify everyone promptly and refund deposits in full before making any final commitments.
