About

”I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.” ~ Gandhi

She began her yoga practice over 20 years ago and is E-RYT 500 through Yoga alliance with over 1000 training hours in Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Dharma Yoga . She enjoys sharing the latest in travel, fitness, wellness, and spirituality on her blog Crystal Vida.

Her spiritual journey began when she was 13. Shaped by a profound personal event which caused her to question the meaning of life, she found Yoga. At age 15 she had a mystical experience with a medium who foreshadowed her current path. She completed her Bachelors in Psychology/Philosophy at Rutgers University, where she studied Yoga Philosophy with Senior Professor Dr. Edwin Bryant.

She completed her 500 hour yoga teacher trainings at Sacred Sounds Yoga under Adrienne Burke and Jill Camera. She is currently immersed in studying Hatha Raja Yoga under Sri Dharma Mittra, and Rocket/Progressive Ashtanga Yoga under David Kyle. This year she completed a 100- hour intensive progressive ashtanga training, and 50 hours Rocket Yoga training.  She is currently in the 500 hour Dharma Yoga Life of A Yogi Training.

Since 2015 she has taught at gyms, studios, hospitals, and offices throughout NYC. Internationally she has taught in Paris, Italy, and Colombia. She recently returned from a month long journey teaching yoga and meditation at a retreat center in Bali, Indonesia. In addition to her teaching, she is passionate about sustainability and has been involved in the earthship project in Aguada, Puerto Rico, helping to build sustainable homes post hurricane Maria. Forever grateful for her recent travels throughout India on Pilgrimage to practice bhakti & meditation. She continues to learn from different lineages and trainings, as well as everyone she meets.
